Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is one of the most prevalent developmental conditions worldwide, yet many individuals with ASD struggle to access structured, inclusive interventions that support their emotional and social well-being. Our project seeks to bridge this gap by integrating physical therapy into education, helping young people with ASD develop crucial life skills through movement-based approaches.

Our Mission

At PT4ASD, we believe in the power of physical activity to foster communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation. Our mission is to:

-Develop innovative, evidence-based physical therapy programs tailored for young individuals with ASD.
-Equip educators, therapists, and caregivers with effective strategies to support ASD students through movement-based interventions.
-Promote inclusion and awareness about the role of physical therapy in improving the quality of life for individuals with ASD.

Our Approach

This project brings together specialists, educators, and therapists from across Europe to create and implement effective physical therapy programs. Our key activities include:

-Researching and developing best practices in movement-based interventions for ASD.
-Providing hands-on training for teachers, therapists, and caregivers.
-Conducting workshops and practical sessions with ASD students.
-Creating educational materials and digital resources to ensure long-term impact.
